| My husband and I are taking a trip touring Southern France and Switzerland, we are taking 2 children aged 8 and 13, we love mountain biking and are going to the alps ( swiss and french ) and would appreciate any advice with regards to where to stay, we have a tent and are looking for cheap campsites that you don't have to pre-book. |

If you are going through the Alps there is a series of little huts that you can spend the night in. I don't know the name of website, but if you google hiking in the alps I'm sure you'll find something.
