| With only a week in Europe, you could visit Amsterdam for 2 days and spend the rest of the time in another city. If you really want to go to Amsterdam, I would consider going either to Paris (4 hours from Amsterdam by train) or London (1 hr by plane). Each ticket will cost you around US $100. |

Or England/Scotland, maybe Spain/Portugal? _________________ In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life: It goes on.

Is your heart set on Amsterdam? Or are you open to other places?
Since I'm a very budget-minded traveler, I would suggest flying from your home to wherever is the cheapest. Then take budget airlines (Ryanair, Easyjet, etc.) or trains from there. 2, 3 max is the number of countries you could reasonably hit in a week. |
