Flights to spain (benicassim fib) and spainish trains

I'm going to the benicassim fib festival in august, but am having great difficulty in finding cheap flights!! Just wondered if anyone else who was going from england has managed to get cheap tickets & where from? I was thinking of flying to valencia or alicante, but then getting a train after the festival up to barcelona for a few days, so also want to know whether or not I'll need to book my train ticket before I go or if you can just turn up at the station? In england obviously it's always cheaper to book ahead and wondered if it's the same in spain? & how much?! & where you book from?!!

Check out vueling.com. It's a Spain airline website. In June I found a one-way ticket to England from Madrid for like 30 Euros.
