General Airline Question

If you buy a plane ticket through student universe and it says you are flying airline A, operated by Airline B.....what airline will you actually be flying? A or B?

I believe what you're referring to is a codeshare; where an airline is using a partner to help for part or all of a flight. An example might help explain:

If you book a flight on Delta, and it says that the flight is operated by another airline, say Comair, you would go to the Delta gate to get your flight. Unless otherwise noted, you would always check-in with the airline you booked, even if the airline you're actually traveling on is different.

Also, all of our ticket confirmations include the gate to go to for your flight. This is information provided by the airline itself, so that will help you as well.
