Hi,
I'm planning on spending about a week with my boyfriend in Morocco, entering via ferry from Spain. Honestly I've never been outside of N.America and Europe and am a little worried but really excited . I'm wondering if there is anything apart from the normal common sense stuff I should know .....cities not to go or that I definately should go, is hiking safe?, how should a woman dress in may/june? How is it for a woman going out ....can I enter any restaurant/pub or are there restrictions? What is the best way to book accomodation....ahead of time or there? Any advice at all would be great. Also will I be able to get by on French? _________________ Sarah |

What I've been told by a friend who lived there for a year and what I've been researching is that there are very few pubs/bars due to the fact you are in a Muslim country, though you can drink at some of the fancier hotels. As for dress long sleeves, or ones that a least cover your upper arms, and long pants/skirts. Conservative at all time, possibly a scarf for your head if in out of the way areas. _________________ In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life: It goes on.
