Hello everyone,
Me and 2 of my friends want to go spend the Thanksgiving weekend in New York. I checked for flight prices at SU and the round trip is 330$/ person and we are leaving from Dallas. Do you know any other website where we could probably find flights cheaper than that?
And we are also looking for cheap hotels/ hostels (designed for international students). Do you know any good and cheap ones in NY, knowing that we will just be sleeping for 2 nights there?
And also, for those who are from NY or been in NY, do you have any ideas of places to go to during the weekend, where to eat, shop and places to not omit?
How much do you think it will cost us per person for the 3 days we plan to spend there (not including the shopping cash, just living+metro or buses+ eat outside)?
Or do you have any other good deals of towns where to go for the Thanksgiving break (any state, any town). And how much will it cost us in terms of living ad traveling, and what can we visit there?
Thank you in advance for any ideas!

| That is cheap for Thanksgiving! I am looking at 500 for a flight at that time from Colorado to NC using hub airports and the whole 9 yards. |

That is a good price from a city like Dallas. You could go on Kayak to compare the prices on SU to the prices on other sites.
For hostels, I would check out the hostels section on this thread.
For hotels, I would subscribe to the Travelzoo and Sherman Travel newsletters. They always list deals on hotels every week. |
