Guatemala & Belize

Hi,

I am flying in to Belize City in October with the intention of heading straight from there to Tikal, Guatemala. Does anyone know how long of a bus ride this would be? Or have any suggestions on the best way to do this?

There are direct buses for 15 usd one way.

There are also several tourist companies that do this as well, just have to look them up online. I dont do the spanish thing too well!

Several hotels do a collective package, stay there and you get the transportation to and from and a guide on a tour bus, but once again most likely for a good price. Heres one in San Ignacio (easy cab or bus ride) [link]

Its not hard- its on the Western Highway, so many many companies do it. If you speak Spanish, you can book something easy here in the States, or just go- theres signs all over from what I hear of companies begging for you to take that tour with them.

Last option, there are several private, reputable companies that will fly you there from the international airport- but cost a bit more. Ive heard there flight however is awesome! Heres one- [link]
