| I am new to this forum and looking for some help for my FIRST trip abroad. I will be in Italy/Czech for a month with my college age son in May. Can someone reccomend a reasonable ($100 or less), clean, and centrally located hotel or pension in Rome? Also we are considering renting a vehicle for part of our trip in nothern Italy . . is it best to make those arrangements before leaving the US? Any and all helpful tips would be appreciated. Thanks! |

It's often cheaper to rent in the US than in country. Depends on the company you use.
Honestly, you've kind of come to the wrong place for the rest of your question. Try the Lonely Planet Thorn Tree, more adults, they should be able to help you. _________________ In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life: It goes on.
