I want to buy a one way US->EU ticket, but right now I'm in the UK. I see that paper tickets require a US shipping address, and that some fares it is unknown whether a paper or e-ticket will be issued.
I was wondering, can you just make the booking and then I go to my local airline office (in the UK) and get a ticket reissue. For instance, I know british airways charges 25GBP to do a ticket reissue - so rather than having the tickets shipped to a US address; I should be able to pay the extra fee and have the ticket issued locally. Right? |

J47-Sorry about the slow response on our part, but I'm happy to reply.
The majority of one-way tickets from the US to the EU are e-tickets, so most of the time it's not an issue at all. If you're booking a flight you can contact us by phone or e-mail, and we'd be happy to check that out for you. We do ask you for a delivery address in the US/Canada, and if it is a paper ticket, we would need to send it to the US or Canada.
In terms of your other option, unfortunately, airlines do not issue tickets for low fees in these instances. Airlines would consider this a lost ticket situation, and charge you at least $100, sometimes more, so that's not an option I'd recommend.
I hope that helps.
