What a fascinating place to live, where are you from originally?I have always been interested in Pappa new guinea. My understanding (which could be wronge) was that it isn't a popular tourist place. Which is good in a way. I like to be off the beaten path and away from tourist traps. but still be safe. I have read there was (is no longer but was) canabalism taking place in the history because the native people believed that you are what you eat so to become a man you must eat a man. I guess my question is would you say it is a safe place to visit? Where exactly would you go. What elements or places (besides the obviouse) would be adviseable to avoid?
Iam interested to hear anything you can tell me about it...thanx |
