I'm looking to take a long weekend trip here this summer from Hartford, CT.
I'm looking for cheap deals any way i can cut corners!
What's a good airline to fly into Portland?
anyone know of cheap but nice hotels in the area?
what are good bars/restaurants and places to visit?
if anyone has recommendations for places to go in Portland let me know!

Your best bet most likely is to go out of Boston or New York. if possible for cheaper. Otherwise, Frontier Airlines and Southwest have service to Portland from Hartford. As to Hotels, Motel 6's are a good bet that are cheap, but if you want nicer just look at tripadvisor.com, they got the scoop on ratings of hotels and places to stay etc.
