There seems to be a need for this so I thought I'd give it a shot.

If you wish to either check to see if the price you are looking at is good, or haven't started looking for flights yet but want to know some fares- post your details here.

NOTE- I wont be able to respond until August 20 so until then- thanks, and I will still be checking email if you need something email or pm me.

I NEED From You:
-Dates needed
-Cities you can fly out of or into (preferred city and ones you can go into/ out of if it is cheap)
-How flexible you are for all of the above (e.g. dates etc)
-Times of flights- (and how flexible those times are)
-Preferred airline carrier
-Non-stop if possible or connections (and price you are willing to pay extra if non-stop)
-Student status (if you are or not)
-OK to layover in London then take a low cost carrier from London the rest of the way- e.g. Ryan Air etc.

PLEASE TELL ME WHAT CITY YOU CAN FLY OUT OF FROM THE US AS WELL!!!!

You can post here, or send me a private message above.

I will then check popular sites (Here, flights.com, hotwire, etc...) to give you the lowest price I can- this should start you off on your flight search.

I WILL PM your flight quote to you, so if it appears I am not responding, It is because I am only sending replies to your inbox. Note this is a FREE service that I am doing to kill some free time I have, so please allow 3-5 days response time. I have helped over 100 students find the best airfare, saving over 200 bucks on average. Note- Sometimes I am unable to find anything better then what you have found, all I try is off peak times, cheaper websites and airline companies, and cheaper airports. But it never hurts to ask and see! Please post only serious requests for those serious about traveling. Thanks.

PS- I cant say this enough- I am not getting compensated in any way for this- so a please and thank you is very nice. It may sound stupid to have to say this, but some people just expect me to do this like I am working for Student Universe. I am NOT! People pay money for agents to do this, so if you want to be rude, you can go hire one of those people- they dont care how nice you are!

Let me first say it is sooo awesome you're helping people out. I actually just found out that my bf and I have the same Spring Break this year (first time in 3 years) so I want to go on a realitively inexpensive trip somewhere amazing in Europe. I've never been and I don't particulary have a preference although I'd love to go to Paris, venice, something touristy. Our time frame is March 1-13, any days in there, we're going for like a 7 day trip about. I live in Chicago and he lives in Detroit,MI so we can fly out of anywhere in the vincinity of those two places. Times of flighst don't really matter to us, red eye, whatever. The preffered airline carrier is whoever is cheapest Smile Of course we'd like nonstop but obviously it'd be cheaper to stop, although we don't want to spend half of our trip traveling there and back. We are both Juniors in college. No prob to layover in London, maybe even a trip to London Smile I'd say the UK, France and Spain are like my tops choices.

Thank you soooo much for your help! My computer is broken and I can only use the library's for so long!

I think it's fantastic that you're offering to do this. I've had a very hard time finding flight prices under $1000 for a trip I'm trying to plan with two friends to Florence, Italy. We have tried to find something around $700 and am not sure if it is possible anymore. If it is cheaper to fly into a different city then take a train into Florence, we're willing to do that. Also if it ends up being cheaper to go to Venice, we'd be willing to do that too.

Dates: December 28th, 2006 - January 7th, 2007.

Cities: Prefer to fly out of LA, San Francisco is a possibility too. Completely okay to fly into London and take a cheaper airline from there.

Flexibility: Fairly flexible for dates, would like to be in Florence for around a week, and be there for New Years. Not so flexible for cities to leave from, we probably can only leave from LA or San Francisco.

Time of Flights: Any time of day will be fine, we can make it work.

Preferred airline carrier: None prefeered as long as the airline is trustworthy.

Non-Stop or connections: Whatever is available, we don't care if it's nonstop or not.

Student: All three of my friends and I are college students.

Ok to layover: Yes! Absolutely fine to layover in London, as previously said!

Thank you for offering to do this!

Hey there,
I am looking to take a trip to Hollland on my Thanksgiving break in November. (17-27). I could fly out of St. Louis, Chicago, or possibly Memphis, but the first 2 would be most prefered. I am flexible on flight times and have no problem laying over in London. I would like to fly in to Amsterdam as I will be meeting friends there, but a nearby airport would be fine if the price is right. Non stop or connections are both fine.
I recently studied abroad in Wales and met some great people while I was there. This trip is kind of a reunion. I look to travel around a little but not much. I plan on spending most of my time in Holland. I am a senior in college. The cheapest ticket I've found is around 650 non-stop to Amsterdam. I'm not sure how good that is but its the best i've found. I'd appreciate any help you could give me.
Many thanks, Josh

I'm going to purchase an Interail Global Pass and travel around Europe from December 16th to January 14th or 15th. Basically, I can get a ticket to anywhere in Europe that is on the Interail network. So I'd like to request the cheapest plane tickets to and from Europe for those dates.

I really appreciate your services. This website and forum are very helpful.

Thanks!

First of all, thank you so much for doing this! I really appreciate it Smile

Now for my question...

I'm going to be studying abroad in London from January until May 5th. I already have a flight booked to go there, but I do not have a flight back yet. I'd like to stay past May 5th. Preferably come back before July. I'm just trying to find out which date would be the cheapest to fly back. I'd like to fly from any London airport into either SFO or SJC. I don't mind layovers...whatever is cheapest is fine by me! Also, I don't know if you'd know the answer to this, but would I be able to enter the UK as a US citizen with a one-way flight and no visa, and purchase my return flight when I'm there?

Hi...this is a great offer so I'll take you up on it! I'm trying to get ultimately to Bosnia between Oct 20 and Oct 30, 2006. I can depart from NYC or Boston preferably (or Philadelphia if it's much better) on or after Oct 20 and arrive in Budapest, Belgrade, Zagreb, or Vienna. I need to return to the U.S. on or before Oct 30th, again to NYC (any airport) or Boston. The best I've found has been NYC to Budapest for 580 on this website, but I was really hoping for something close to 400.

Alternatively, a ticket to London that is truly, truly cheap could be useful as well as I could use the cheap euro-lines to the Balkans.

Thanks so much!!

I need to fly from Denver Intl to Lyon Airport by Jan 3rd 2007 (thats program start date in grenoble). I would prefer to stay in the states for new years but if not htats fine. I can come back anytime after august 1st until august 10th and i can fly back from paris if it is cheaper. The time of the flights do not matter, no preffered carrier and i dont care if it is non stop or there are connections. I am a full time student, and a layover in london would be fine. the lowest price i have found is $805 here. thanks alot! my email is bryan.schelling@western.edu

This is so awesome that you are willing to help people. It is very generous and greatly appreciate.

I'm trying to go see my best friend who is studying in Paris, France. I would like be in Paris by my birthday on Dec. 27. Therefore, I could leave Christmas, a few days before or on the 26th. It doesn't really matter how long I stay, but leaving by the 9th of January would work. I would preferablly like to fly out of Chicago (Midway or O'Hare). The times of the flight do not matter as well as the number of connections. I am a student and a layover in London would be perfectly fine.

Thank you so much. This is greatly appreciated.

Hello!

Thanks you so much in advance for the help! First, I was wondering what the best time of year to fly to Italy from the states would be. Also, I am looking to go to Italy in May of next year. I will be flying out from Kansas City and I would like to fly into Rome, but any Italian airport would do. I am flexible on dates, times, airlines, pretty much everything. I am a student. Thank you very much for the help!

Hey! Thanks for doing this. About 5 of my high school friends and I are planning a European vacation for next summer. We want to leave in Early June... it would be 2 weeks. We are from Wisconsin... so Chicago is probably the best bet as to where we would fly out of... and we are talking about flying into London.... but that can be changed.

All other details (airline, flight time, etc...) are flexible.

Thank you!
