Hey Guys. My name is Tori and I'm from Northern Cali, USA.
Next January I'm plannig to go to Peru for my 21st birthday! I want to see Machu Picchu and that's the only thing thats FOR SURE. I'm going to be traveling with my boyfriend so we will want a place to stay that can house two people with a private bathroom.
I've done tons of research on Hostels, Tour Groups etc.
BUT-- I want the advice from people my age. How were your experiences? What we're you glad you did and or wish you had? Please let me know! It will help immensley!!
Gracias y Buenos Dias Amigos!!
xo

Hey,
If you're looking for clean, fun, inexpensive hostels where you can meet cool young people, check out this company, minihostels (google them). Ive been using them while I've been backpacking all over Argentina but they have places in Peru and the rest of South America too. I met cool people at every hostel I stayed at and they all were really nice, chill, and fit even my super-low budget. The hostels are all independent, its not a chain or anything just like a network of cool places. On the website you can search for hostels ad see pictures, get info, etc, and link to the hostel website to make reservationa and everything. Also you can get a membership for US$10 that gives you 10% off your stay every night at any hostel, which totally pays off if youre traveling for more than a week.
Good luck and I hope this was helpful! Happy traveling! |
