| I will be tutoring English this summer in Madrid, and studying in Barcelona in the fall. I do not know anyone in Spain, but I have been there before. Any advice on fun things to do, bars, etc.? Please let me know! |

| I studied in Madrid last year, so I know a little bit about the city, although it does depend on your idea of fun. If you like to go out to big discotecas, then Kapital, Joy, and Palacio Gaviria are good. I went to both the Museo del Prado and the Reina Sofia several times, and it was well worth it. Since I was there in the summer, I went to the water park outside of Madrid (I think it's called Aqua Madrid or something like that) and that was fun for a day. I didn't get to see Real Madrid play, but I definitely would've liked to, so that would probably be fun if you can afford it. A lot of the things I did that were the most fun just involved walking around in the evening and hearing street musicians and people-watching, especially on Gran Via and in Sol, since I lived near the Plaza de Espana. Hope you have fun! I'm jealous...I'd love to go back. Feel free to PM me if you have any other questions. |
