I intend to go on a trip around thanksgiving time, and i'm flying domestically within the US.

And my question is, how soon should I arrive at the airport for my flight?

example: 2 hours prior to flight.

Anything is appreciated.

It really depends on which airport and who you are- let us know that info! I would plan on an hour and a half for the most part, but let us know which airport first.

For domestic flights, the TSA recommends arriving no later than 2 hours before the departure time. A specific recommendation would depend on the airline and the airport.
