Sleep in truck in Toronto

I will be traveling to Toronto sometime in the next few weeks. My boyfriend and I have a pickup truck and can sleep in the back of it. I'm from the US and am not familiar with Canadian policies about camping out in this way. Would it be all right with authorities if we found a large shopping mall type place and spent the night there?
