Hi - I am looking for a flight home from Sydney (uni) to LAX around Christmas holidays. Firstly, what fare class are tickets on united flight 840? secondly - I keep seeing cheaper advertisements on the right side of the homepage but cannot get this price. Any suggestions? Should I buy now if its peak season and my travel is between 19 december and christmas?
thanks! |

clearmind81,
I work for StudentUniverse, and would be happy to answer your questions.
The fare classes for this route are T/S/W/V, so the least expensive available would show based on availability.
In terms of the right side of the homepage, those are recent flights purchased by other students, but do not include some taxes, and are not necessarily for the same time period you're looking for. Travel around the holidays, especially considering Australia's reverse seasons, are always going to be the most expensxive time to fly.
I would always recommend checking multiple travel sites before booking a flight. If ours is the least expensive for the day(s) flight(s) you want, then I would encourage you to book sooner rather than later, as you're looking at the peak travel time of the year.
I hope this was helpful.
