Trip to Paris this summer

Hello, I am going to Paris this summer and will stay there for a month. It seems to me that summer is the peak time, as the air ticket I've found so far is as expensive as over $1000. Is there any way to get cheaper tickets? The other problem I have is to find accomodation for one month. I would appreciate it very much if anyone can provide helpful information regarding this.

Did you try to find tickets at STA? If you are a student, this might be your best option. Also try Sidestep to see if anyone offers cheaper tickets.

If you are looking for a place to stay, hostels may be your best choice. Try looking at www.hostelz.com. Montmartre is a really nice area to stay at b/c it is less touristy. You should also look to see if people are renting out apartment for long term vistors.

You can usually find better deals at StudentUniverse than STA... Hostelz.com is a great site by the way!

yo, staying in paris for a month can be super cheap (cause you got the *beep* ripped out of you on the airfare).

go to [link] you can find short-long term leasing there. I rented an apartment in paris last summer for a week for 300 Euros, but you could find one for a whole month in a decent area for about or prolly less than 600 Euros for a month. Not too shabby, but I've found as cheap as 400, so, just look around.

Its really easy to go through that company as well.

i paid 434 last year for a flight, right here on student universe. maybe u just didnt buy well enough in advance. who knows, we left at the end of may, right before the fares went up, i guess.
