Volunteers are needed at the Umpalazi: Community & Wildlife Project, South Africa.
Umpalazi incorporates local community upliftment, including skills training, environmental education and aid work; with the rehabilitation of injured and orphaned wildlife. Volunteers will have a unique opportunity to work closely with South African wildlife, primarily the South African Vervet Monkey.
Volunteers will have a direct and positive impact on the conservation of wildlife and the environment through snare/trap clearing; game counts, and environmental management.
This opportunity costs £610 per month (includes food, accommodation, laundry) and the only requirement is a love of animals and the environment.
For more information or to apply visit our website or send us an email. _________________ Danielle Enright,

| This is a good site to find volunteering projects in Africa [link] . A few of my friends recently took a project with them working with lions in South Africa and absolutely loved it! I'm looking into doing something with them now too, but there's so many to choose from that it's quire diificult to decide on just one! At the moment I'm thining about sea turtle conservation in Costa Rica or a project in Tanzania, but I change my mind everyday so who knows which trip it will be tomorrow?! |
